Easter

It was brought to my attention that I have not posted any Easter pictures. Sorry!!! Easter Sunday Mom & Smitty, Cheryl, Joe & Catarina, Bobby, Cara & the crew all came to church with us. Everyone came to our church because I was playing bells and couldn't miss. (I'll post a little video in a bit.) It was nice to have everyone together!! After church, we went to eat then to my house for the egg hunt. Here are some pictures from the egg hunt.

Pug Mark Park

I'm back!!! I got up at 5 am to leave by 5:30, so we can be in McKinney by 6:30. I met a group of photographers and we went to a rescue home for big cats!! Pug Mark Park is the home of 3 Bengal Tigers, a lioness and a VERY old camel. I had two hours of shooting time with the animals. It was the most amazing thing I have ever been to!!! I was standing right at the cage, my lense was IN the cage. It was funny to watch, there would be a group of photographers all at the fence shooting as quickly as we could and as the tiger or lion got to the fence, we all took a giant step backwards. We weren't allowed to touch the animals, or I would have been!! I could touch the camel and he was so soft. Poor thing was so old, he could hardly move. It was a very exciting morning. VERY EXCITING!!!

I'm going somewhere very exciting tomorrow. Gonna see something really BIG and cute!!! I've been waiting for this for about 8 weeks now. I hope I can sleep!!! So, check back tomorrow afternoon for the pictures!!!

3 weeks old!!!

The kittens are growing so fast!! They are 3 weeks old now. They are starting to pounce around and play with each other. And they have the cutest little faces with blue eyes!!!

Volleyball tourney

We got up at 4:50 am and drove 1.5 hours to Commerce, Texas for a tournament. The lighting in there was really bad, so there aren't any action shots. But on to the details....they did good. The girls went 4-2 in the pool play. That put them in the Silver Bracket. They ended up winning the Silver Bracket!! So, things are looking up. We have two more tourneys, then Lauren and Mike are off to Houston for the Lonestar Tourney. Then in June, Lauren and I will be flying to San Diego again for the Starling's National Tournament. We are excited about that!!!

Babies, Snow & Letterjackets

Remember back in September my niece, Izzie B., that was born 6 weeks early???? Well, here she is at 5.5 months!!! Isn't she the cutest thing!!

Last night we had some snow. It was after 9 pm, but the girls still went outside in coats and boots and played volleyball in the snow. I took a few pictures and was quickly back in the house where it was cozy and warm.

Today Lauren finally got her letterjacket. She looks so good!!! We were all excited that she FINALLY got it.


So, today was day number two at my new job. I am excited about it. I have ran into several people that I already know. And did I mention, they have a Starbucks IN THE BUILDING!!!
